Married. We are getting married.
what should I wear to the wedding?
It's going to be an outdoor country wedding, so we'd like you to look snazzy, but we're not
morning dress people. The groomsmen will be wearing lounge suits (i.e.
this rather than
this) and the bridesmaids will be wearing pretty blue (mostly cocktail length) dresses. Ladies, much of the wedding will take place on a lawn, so we suggest you save the stilettos for another affair. If you are a man, and you are still conflicted or confused, please consult the always excellent
Put This On (and cotton, linen, or seersucker are acceptable should you desire). Essentially, we want you to look great and feel good in it. Dress accordingly.
am I going to be bored?
Heck no! There will be awesome friends and family playing lawn games, eating food, drinking booze, dancing, singing, lovin’, kissin’, and huggin’. If you are worried that the music will suck,
go suggest a song, sucka!
where are you registered?
We appreciate your love and generosity more than we can say. Gifts, however, are entirely
unnecessary. Your presence at our marriage and good cheer are all we ask.
